Ideal for applications
requiring mechanically polished finishes to 20Ra ID maximum and 30Ra OD
maximum surface roughness, this high quality Rath® tubing meets stringent
standards for ID and OD finishes as measured per ANSI B46.1-1995. Fully
tested to ASTM A450 requirements, all A270-BPE tubing is produced
utilizing Rath's exclusive Micro-Weld process which assures weld seam
integrity and finish consistency demanded in pharmaceutical,
biotechnology, and other high purity process. Select tubing with ends
prepared for orbital welding in stock 20ft. lengths, 1 1/2" to 4"
OD.

All Rath® Micro-Weld 20Ra ID maximum high purity
tubing is available from stock with ID cleaned for oxygen service. Other
ID cleaning procedures are available including thermocouple cleaning per
ASTM A632 or Nitric Acid & DI Water Rinse. Rath's DI water system
guarantees 50 PPB and a restivity of 17.98 to 18.03.
Rath also utilizes ultra high purity 99.9999% pure
Nitrogen which is filtered to .003 micron at the point of use. Cleaning
and packaging is performed in a Class 100 clean room.
Surface finish is 20Ra ID maximum (roughness average
in u-inches) measured per ANSI B46.1-1995 with the profilometer reading at
90 degrees to major polishing pattern.
